Elusa-cheval riding school is a member of the Fédération Française d’Equitation where you can practise the following disciplines:
- dressage,
- showjumping,
- eventing.
For showjumping, we like to use the Orgeix method. Each year, Jean D’ORGEIX dispenses a course which is open to all riders. Riders can use their own horses or those of the club which are familiar with the method.

Dressage:
Dressage forms the basis for horse-riding, as it allows the rider to understand the horse and the horse to understand its rider.

Showjumping:
For showjumping, we like to use the Orgeix method. Each year, Jean D’ORGEIX dispenses a course which is open to all riders. Riders can use their own horses or those of the club which are familiar with the method.
In July and August every year, Elusa-cheval organises two showjumping training competitions.

Eventing:
Eventing is also a very popular discipline in our region and a very interesting 5th-category circuit is proposed to club riders.
We organise our eventing on the last Sunday of September.

Horseback packing:
A tourist horse-riding centre must offer sports tourism.
Horseback packing is a key feature of Elusa-cheval. We offer you the chance to practise this discipline at our club but also to take part in competitions in the region; a local competition is held at the club on 8 May each year.
Another aspect of the centre is professional training, with courses given for horse-riding tourism instructors to prepare for a Federation diploma or for the horse-riding option of the sports instructor state certificate.
